Super Bowl Start Time

What time does the Super Bowl start? This will be the most googled question over the next few hours.

I’m not going to make you wait until the end of the blog to give you the start times. We’ll even break down the time zones for you. The Super Bowl will begin at 6:30 eastern, 5:30 central and 4:30p on the west coast. Just in case you are wondering the Super Bowl will kick off at 1:30 in Hawaii and 2:30 in Alaska.

You better have the coffee ready if you are watching the game in England with an 11:30p start time. If you are in Australia, (Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!) you will actually be watching the game on Monday morning at 10:30a.

Currently as I write this, the temperature is -37F at the South Pole in Antarctica. The good news is that it’s supposed to warm up. Monday the temperature is expected to rise to -35F. That is some serious Penguin weather! According to our friends at Wikipedia, theoretically, this continent is located in all time zones. We’ll pick out one and call it a lunch time kickoff at 12:30p.

How about our awesome troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan? In Iraq those that are serving in Baghdad will watch kickoff in the overnight hours to start Monday with a 2:30a start. In Kabul Afghanistan 4:07a on Monday morning.

Hopefully you have had as much fun reading this as I have writing this. The Super Bowl will be watched throughout the world and it’s fascinating to see the times that people will be watching.

Speaking of the great game of football, we have two funny football t-shirts as part of our collection. The first is the Cocksville Blockers, our best-selling t-shirt. Cocksville is our only made up city but the name Cocksville Blockers was just too good to resist. This angry rooster is amazing at getting in your way and blocking your moves. We’re talking of course about football moves, what were you thinking?

Our second football t-shirt is the Nashville Bootleggers. This Nashville sports logo is carrying a whiskey barrel instead of a football and giving the “Heisman” to anyone that gets in his way. They say the term “Bootlegging” began during the Civil War. Soldiers would sneak liquor into their camps by hiding pint bottles in the boots underneath their trouser. We think this t-shirt is a perfect fit for the Tennessee Whiskey fan.

Get these two t-shirts at discount prices as part of our t-shirt of the month club. Enjoy the Super Bowl!
